Epoxy Coating VL-104ie

Description: Two component, polymid epoxy. Extremely durable. Excellent adhesion to properly prepared surfaces.

Usage: Can be used as a base coat, a thin coat re-surfacer, or as a top coat. Excellent for bonding and sealing ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete, masonry, glass, ceramics and reinforced plastics. Is resistant to moisture, acids, alkalis, corrosive salts, solvents, petroleum, and alcohol. Average tensile strength is 14,000 psi, compressive strength is 23,000 psi, and flexural strength is 22,400 psi.

Mixing Instructions:

A: Mix ratio by one part A to one part B.
B: Use separate container for mixing.
1. Pre-mix part A and Part B.
2. Pour equal parts of A and B into mixing containers.
3. Mix for five minutes with drill blade mixer at 500 rpm.
4. Add thinner as required, up to 10% of volume and mix for 1 minute.
5. Let mixed product sit (dwell time) for 15-20 minutes before using.

Application: Product can be applied by brush, roller or sprayed. Coverage 225’ to 250’ per gal.

Characteristics:
Pot life – 3 hours at 70 degrees F.
Shelf life – I year.
Clean up – RT-130 ImageSol thinner.
Dry Time – Between coats 8 hours at 70 degrees F.
Cure Time – 24-48 hours.
Reducer RT-225 or RT-130.

Caution: Keep away from children. Do not take internally. If taken, contact physician. When spraying a protective mask should be worn to avoid inhaling. In the event of eye contact, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
